Heskin Contemporary is pleased to present the exhibition, "Captured", a Portrait Show. The exhibition opens December 15th and runs through January 21st, 2012. A reception will be held for the artists from 6 -9 pm on Thursday, December 15th.

Captured is an exhibition of twenty-six artists, ranging from up-and-coming, mid-career, and well-established painters, sculptors and photographers.  "The show provides a comprehensive look at portraiture in various mediums and different time periods in the 20th and 21st century of art making.

The exhibition consists of John Ahearn, Mike Bidlo, Maurizio Cattelan, Sam Dargan, Countess de Castiglione, Matthew Fisher, Karl Francke, Julio Galán, Pierre et Gilles, Anthony Goicolea, Nan Goldin, Duncan Hannah, Laura Henno, Sherry Kerlin, Barbara Kruger, Loretta Lux, Matthew Magee, Edward Mapplethorpe, Virgil Marti, Ben McLaughlin, Matthew Bede Murphy, Elizabeth Peyton, Christer Strömholm , Eugene Von Bruenchenhein, Nick waplington.
